How am I going to downsize all of my extra’s ?
Senior’s Move can review many different downsizing options with you. We will develop a downsizing plan that is both practical and economical.
What can I fit into my new home ?
Space Planning can become more difficult as we age and trying to visualize your favorite pieces in a smaller home can be frustrating. Senior’s Move will measure the new home and note important details about the space.
Our goal for you is to create the most comfortable living space possible.
Packing- Unpacking-Setting-Up
While working in your home your comfort and safety is our #1 priority. Our friendly and experienced team will pack and organize your belongings in preparation of move day.
This same team will be at your new home to unpack and set-up your belongings to ensure your special requests are met.
All packing materials come with this service and are removed at the end of move day.
Move Day
Your Senior Move Manager will arrange for and supervise professional movers on move day. Move day can be busy and stressful and that’s why your Senior Move Manager is there in your place on move day. At the end of the day we look forward to welcoming you to your beautifully set-up ready-to-live in home!

If this sounds like you, you are not alone and that’s why you have been named the “sandwich generation”. Senior’s Move services have been designed to cater to you and your aging parents. We understand the demands coming from both directions and are happy to alleviate some of the pressure.
Every situation is different, just like every one of our clients’ needs is different. Depending on your involvement the Senior Move Manager will be able to give you suggestions on where your time is best spent.
We will work closely with your parent(s) to help them make an easier transition. A progress update will be sent to you on a regular basis.
If time constraints or other factors result in the need to store home contents for a period of time, we are pleased to offer you a variety of different sized fully-secured storage units.
If you have special family treasures that need to be shipped we will professionally and securely pack them for safe arrival.
Sometimes a crisis move or sudden death leaves family, friends or neighbors with the responsibility of clearing out a home. Senior’s Move will work with the Power of Attorney or Executor to clean out the home in preparation for sale or new buyer.
The Senior Move Manager will help you fulfill your role and legal obligations. This will help with cost containment and make the entire process move more smoothly.
A Home Inventory solution is also available if necessary.
Over the year’s bills, receipts and other confidential documents pile up. Although some are important to keep on file others can be destroyed. This will free up space and decrease the odds of fraud and identity theft.
To ensure your privacy and safety these kinds of documents will be shredded with a "Document of Destruction" receipt.
